Artist's Comments

This was an in-class life drawing for Ryman (first semester, Robin Palanker). We took a trip to the Natural History Museum LA, North American animal hall... which was creepy. Taxidermies staring at you from every direction. Full grown buffalo was the scariest animal ever!

I drew the Dall's Sheep. Because it was like the only one with horns that looked neat.

it's very possible (: it could also have been the angle I was sitting at, as I was sitting on the floor and looking up at the taxidermy. but knowing me, i probably funned up the proportions :>

Buffalos scare me, like, really bad. I was walking through a restaurant full of taxidermy, looked up, and HOMIGAWD, thurs a buffalo in mah face. I cried inside.
